Step by step — How to take care of your contact lenses
Hey eyeclubber,
We sell different types of lenses: daily, monthly, half‑yearly, and yearly.
Daily lenses must never be re‑worn; dispose of them after a single use.

This guide covers monthly, half‑yearly, and yearly lenses only.

Important:
-
Do not wear lenses past their recommended wearing time.
-
For hygiene and safety reasons, always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and your eye care professional’s advice.
-
We are not liable for complications that arise from misuse.

Quick checklist
✅ Wash hands with soap and dry with a lint‑free towel
✅ Use only recommended contact lens solution (no water)
✅ Rub & rinse for at least 20 seconds
✅ Store in a clean case filled with fresh solution every day
✅ Replace lenses as prescribed and replace case every 3 months
Remove lenses
-
Use soap (no oily soaps) and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
-
Dry hands with a clean, lint‑free towel or paper towel.

Gently slide the lens down to the white of your eye and pinch to remove.
Clean the lens
-
Place lens in your palm.
-
Apply a few drops of multi‑purpose solution to the lens.
-
Rub gently with your index finger in the palm for about 10–20 seconds (unless using a no‑rub system; follow product directions).
-
Rinse both sides of the lens with solution.
-
Fill with fresh contact lens solution (never use water or saline made at home).
-
Place the lenses in the case and close tightly.
-
Let them soak for the time recommended by the solution manufacturer (usually at least 4–6 hours or overnight).

Insert lenses
-
Wash and dry hands.
-
Put lens on your index finger and check it’s not inside out (edges should curve upward like a bowl).
-
Pull down lower eyelid with middle finger and lift upper eyelid with other hand.
-
Place lens on the eye, blink slowly to seat it.
-
Repeat for the other eye.

Make sure lenses feel comfortable and vision is clear.
If irritation, remove and inspect the lens for debris or damage.
If problem persists, discard and use a replacement.
